Slow & steady, wins the race.

Slow & steady, wins the race.

Slow and steady wins the race!!

I’ve recently hit another milestone. Since I’ve been back on my plan (16 weeks) I’ve hit (and passed) my 1 stone mark. Which means I’ve lost on average, around a pound a week (and 120lbs now to date).

There once was a time that this would have been an issue for me. I always wanted BIG losses, and I wanted them at rapid speed (no matter the cost).
And there were lots of methods that I used, that did achieve big and fast losses. BUT they were never consistent, and they NEVER lasted.

I have long since learnt the importance of HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS. This equates to healthy choices, healthy behavioural patterns, and a healthy metabolism and mindset. And this guarantees consistent, and life long success. But it does also require a slow and steady pace.

In order to lose weight for life, you are required to literally reboot your mindset and metabolism. You are required to reset your default factory settings for weight loss. And this takes time. But the time passes anyway.

I always try to help people to comprehend this-
So far, your weight loss attempts have consisted of this- lose weight fast, stop (due to your metabolism and mindset not being modified), then regain weight lost, and go back to the beginning, then repeat.
And you’ve done this for YEARS. And those years have passed, and you’re still not at your weight loss goal, and stuck in this exhausting cycle.

Now imagine if you would have tried this my way.

Slow, consistent and healthy. The same amount of time would have passed, as it has doing what you’ve been doing. But you’d either be at your goal now, or well on your way to it.

All you need to do is change your attitude towards weight loss.

If you’re tired of stopping and starting again. If you’re fed up with feeling frustrated and fed up, and if you’re ready to change your life- I’m here to help.
